Angel from Mont-Royal

The Mont-Royal, which is a pretty small mount, gave it's name to the city (and got it's name from Jacques Cartier). With all it's pedestrian paths, it represents as much for Montrealers as Central Park for New Yorkers (in fact, the two parks were arranged by the same guy, Frederick Law Olmsted !).

Whatever the season, it's always beautiful to go and take a walk on the mountain, and then grab a little lunch down the hill, near the Angel (monument to Sir George-Étienne Cartier). That statue has been filmed in a lot of movies and TV series, as "La Vie, La Vie".
